CONDUCT OF TEST FOR MERIT-BASED POSTING OF HEADTEACHERS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS OF PUNJAB

I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to inform that the test for merit-based posting of headteachers is scheduled to be held on 22.07.2025 and the responsibility to conduct the said test has been assigned to Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training & Assessment Authority (PEСТАА).

2. I am directed to request you to extend full cooperation to PECTAA and ensure facilitation to Dr. Abdul Waheed Raza / Focal Person, PECTAA (Cell No. 0300-6334091), for the smooth and transparent conduct of the said test. Furthermore, the following arrangements must be ensured at the designated test centers of your district:

Installation of CCTV cameras to ensure monitoring and transparency.

Uninterrupted power supply during the conduct of the test.

Provision of tablets for the test takers as per requirement.

3. I am further directed to request you to nominate a focal person at the district level to coordinate with PECTAA and address all related matters promptly. The name and cell number of the nominated focal person may be communicated to Focal Person PECTAA as well as to this department.
